Trabajaron con los aldeanos en lugar de imponerles la religi\u00f3n, construyeron iglesias en la regi\u00f3n, que en ese momento eran las m\u00e1s grandes de Am\u00e9rica. Los jesuitas tambi\u00e9n ense\u00f1aron a los ind\u00edgenas a tocar instrumentos desconocidos, como arpas y violines. Hoy en d\u00eda estos pueblos tienen sus propias orquestas, donde se realizan \u00f3peras y conciertos.
