Historical Haciendas
Historically, the traditional “Haciendas” in Bolivia were engaged in mixed livestock and crop production. Some of them were plantations, mines, or even business factories. Nowadays, some of them have become touristy attractions due to their historical value, picturesque scenery and lives of their inhabitants. The most important ones are: “Cayara”, “Caraparicito”, “Pirirenda”, “Paraiso del Tordo” and “La Cercada”.
